Process and attention to detail is important in the making of the fabrics and each team member’s role in their creation is highlighted in the film.

A black pro mist filter was used for a technical purpose: to achieve a softer highlight roll-off and for a creative purpose: to create a soft, dream-like quality in the shots.

The fabric offcuts used to make the faux chenille fabrics come from a variety of sources. One of them is a garment factory near the studio.

Through upcycling, Threadapeutic helps to reduce fashion waste and transform them into beautiful pieces of fabric.
To show the texture and patterns of the fabrics in full (the tapetries in particular), 16:9 was the chosen aspect ratio for the whole film.
These patterns sometimes look like a bird’s eye view of bizarre but beautiful terrains.

One of the tapestries is called ‘Hutan’ (forest) shown below. The mix of colors is really lovely.
The film highlights the process, the philosophy and the team behind the tapestries.
Just like the fabric offcuts, when properly combined can turn into a beautiful piece of fabric, so does the team: each has a role to play and together they create something greater than the sum of its parts.
